Missions

A mission is paid for up front, flies for a while, and brings back its reward. Only one can fly at a time. Some missions open a new site in Astrophysics.
Light delay. Signals take time to cross space. When a mission to a far place ends, its reward (and the site it opens) is on its way home: it arrives some days later. The Missions tab and the calendar line show what is in transit and when it arrives, and it keeps coming while you are away. What your buildings make out there is not delayed. While an Entanglement relay (see Quantum) is on and powered, the delay is halved.
