Time and new gardens

From Gardens wiki

Opens: 30 𓏛 knowledge.

Seasons

Every 30 days (a day is 10 seconds) the season turns, and some things grow faster or slower:

Season Effect
Spring 𓎟 crops ×1.15
Summer 🜄 water ×0.85
Autumn 𓎟 crops ×1.1, 𓇣 grain ×1.1
Winter 𓎟 crops ×0.85, 🜄 water ×1.1, 𓏛 knowledge ×1.05

Time on other worlds

Each space tab shows its world's own time next to Earth's calendar line. Mars counts sols: a sol is 1.0275 Earth days, a little longer than ours (the Interplanetary and Astrobiology tabs). The Moon has one long day and one long night, 29.5 Earth days for both (the Lunar tab). In the lunar night the Lunar solar fields make no power, except what the Lunar depots carry through it.

Chronoboost doubles all production while it's switched on. It burns time shards while it runs, and stops when they run out.

Starting a new garden

From season 3, or once you've grown 500 crops in total, you can start a new garden. You keep your achievements and what you have learned by analysis in Arcana (aspect knowledge), and gain legacy seeds:

  • how many: half the seasons played (rounded down), plus 1 for every 2,000 crops ever grown;
  • each legacy seed gives +5 starting seeds, +2 starting knowledge and +2% to all production.
